Today’s Student Equates “E” With Free

Today's student has a very different take on what "should" be free and what they are entitled to.  Apparently, a large percentage of students feel that there is no need to pay for online educational material when a little trolling on the internet can lead to libraries which already subscribe to databases with full-text articles.  According to this Guardian article, publishers and online universities and other educational entities have worked to build infrastructure and have collaborated on many exciting free educational online opportunities but how long can they afford this investment is these students do not understand that this might not be for always?
