In 2013, Ask Us 24/7 celebrates 10 years of service. From now through September, we’ll be highlighting the history of the service in a series of blog posts. Let’s look at some of the publicity we have received.
Back in 2008, Sheryl Knab and Jaclyn McKewan from WNYLRC appeared on “PM Buffalo,” a short-lived show that was an afternoon version of AM Buffalo. They discussed the service with host Linda Pelligrino. See the video here .
In 2010, to promote the news that the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library had joined Ask Us 24/7, we arranged 2 more TV appearances. In both May and December of that year, Jaclyn McKewan from WNYLRC and Hadeen Stokes from BECPL appeared on AM Buffalo to again talk with Linda Pellegrino about how the service can benefit the public. See a video of the second appearance here .
We have also made it into print:

We also made news in the library world when WNYLRC (because of Ask Us 24/7) was a runner up for the Joseph F. Shubert Library Excellence Award in 2009.
We are constantly seeking ways to get the word out to the public about this service. Keep your eyes out for future appearances in media across the state as Ask Us 24/7 continues to grow.
